Real Life Story in English
Status of Human Being, Made of Clay
After a person
is buried, the inevitable process of decomposition begins. Exactly 24 hours
after burial, the body starts to change. Insects, initially dormant, begin to
invade the body, particularly the intestines, and start to feed on the remains.
This activity
causes an unbearable stench to rise, which only attracts more insects to the
body, including scorpions, which begin to feast on the human flesh.
By the third
day after burial, the first visible sign of decomposition appears: the nose
begins to deteriorate. After six days, the nails start to fall off, followed by
hair loss nine days later. Soon after, there is a noticeable swelling in the
abdomen.
On the 17th
day, the stomach ruptures, and the body begins to release its contents.
By the 60th
day, all the flesh has been consumed by the insects, leaving nothing but bones
behind. At 90 days, the bones begin to separate from one another, and after a
full year, even the bones start to break down, turning into dust.
The human body,
once full of life, becomes reduced to the earth from which it was created.
This natural
process serves as a humbling reminder of the transient nature of life. All the
pride, arrogance, wealth, power, and titles we accumulate throughout our lives
mean nothing once we pass away.
The person who
once walked proudly in the world, despising others, or ruling over many, will
eventually return to the same state as everyone else—nothing more than dust.
The lesson is
clear: life is fragile and temporary. It is essential to live with humility, to
avoid pride, arrogance, and hatred. Our focus should be on building a life that
is meaningful, one that is devoted to good deeds and worship.
True honor
comes from remembering Allah, living with sincerity, and striving for a
peaceful and eternal afterlife.
May Allah guide
all of us to live in a way that pleases Him, and may our actions reflect
sincerity and humility. Ameen.
