True Love Story in English
King Fell in Love at First Sight with Slave Girl
Once upon a
time, in ancient times, there was a king who was out hunting one day. During
his journey, he came across a beautiful slave girl and instantly fell in love
with her. Unable to resist his feelings, he purchased her. However, shortly
after, the slave girl fell seriously ill.
The king called
for the best physicians, but despite their skills, they were unable to cure
her. The doctors said, “We have a cure for every disease,” but none of them
mentioned "Insha Allah" (If God wills), which angered Allah. As a
result, their treatments were unsuccessful.
Both the king
and the slave girl’s health worsened. In desperation, the king turned to God,
praying and weeping in the mosque.
As he
surrendered himself to Allah, exhausted from crying, he fell asleep. In his
dream, he was told that a stranger would arrive with the cure, a magical remedy
from Allah’s grace.
The king
anxiously awaited the arrival of this stranger, and when he finally appeared,
the king welcomed him with humility and asked for his help.
The stranger
examined the slave girl and discovered that her illness wasn’t physical but
emotional—she had a broken heart. The physicians had been treating the wrong
ailment.
The stranger
requested to speak to the slave girl alone. He asked her questions about her
past, her hometown, and her family. When he mentioned the city of Samarkand,
the slave girl became emotional and started to cry.
She revealed
her painful past: a merchant in Samarkand had sold her to a goldsmith, who kept
her for six months before selling her again. The memories were too much for
her, and her health had deteriorated due to the trauma.
The stranger
reassured her, “I understand your illness now, and your treatment will begin,
Insha Allah.” He asked the king to send envoys to Samarkand to bring the
goldsmith to the court.
The king, eager
to help, sent two envoys who flattered the goldsmith with praise and offered
him gold and silver. The goldsmith, intrigued by the offer, agreed to leave his
family and city to travel with them.
Once he
arrived, the king honored him with royal gifts, and the stranger advised the
king to marry the slave girl to the goldsmith. The king agreed, and the
marriage took place.
Meanwhile, the
stranger prepared a special syrup for the goldsmith, which, when consumed over
the next six months, caused his body to weaken and his appearance to
deteriorate. His beauty faded, and his skin turned yellow, making him
unrecognizable.
As the
goldsmith’s physical appearance changed, the slave girl’s affection for him
faded as well. She no longer loved him, and the goldsmith died, his life
claimed by the stranger’s remedy. But this was no act of revenge; it was the
will of God, carried out by the stranger as part of a divine plan.
The stranger’s
actions were not driven by hatred or personal gain, but by a sense of divine
justice. He had followed the guidance of inspiration, and the goldsmith’s fate
was sealed as part of God’s greater plan.
