A sense of Empathy for the Poor

At a school, the teacher promised the children prizes to those who took first in the test, would get new shoes. Everyone got the same number in the test, now it was impossible to give a pair to everyone so the teacher said let's draw, whoever got the name will be given these new shoes, and everyone for lottery was asked to write his name on a piece of paper and put it in a box.

The teacher mixed the pieces of paper in the box well so that no one's rights would be lost. Then she picked up a piece in front of everyone, as soon as she opened, it was written, “Wafa Abdul Karim”. Everyone applauded. She woke up with tears in her eyes and received her reward. Because she was fed up with torn old clothes and shoes. Her father was passed away and her mother was helpless, so this shoe prize meant a lot to her.

When the teacher went home, she told the story crying to her husband, who expressed his happiness and asked why she was crying. So the teacher burst into tears and cried that I could feel the feelings of other children and my own indifference more than the shoes of “Wafa Abdul Karim”. When I checked the other pieces of paper in the box, they all had the same name, "Wafa Abdul Karim". These innocent children felt the pain and anguish of helplessness on the face of Wafa Abdul Karim but not us, which I am sorry for.

One of my teachers used to say that creating the feeling in children and teaching generosity in practice is the best training. There are books about many of our forefathers that they did not give alms, charity and zakat with their own hands but gave it to their children and asked them to distribute among poor. When asked, they said that this is the reason which instills in children a sense of generosity from childhood and a sense of empathy for the poor and helpless.

Gareebon Ke Lie Sahaanubhooti Kee Bhaavana

Phir usane sabake saamane ek tukada uthaaya, use kholate hee likha tha, vafa abdul kareem. sabane taaliyaan bajaeen. Usakee aankhon mein aansoo aa gae aur usane apana puraskaar praapt kiya. Kyonki vah phate puraane kapade aur jooton se tang aa chukee thee. Pita ka saaya sir se utar chuka tha aur maan bebas thee, isalie yah joota puraskaar unake lie bahut maayane rakhata tha.

Jab shikshika ghar gaee, to usane apane rote hue pati ko kahaanee sunaee, jisane apanee khushee vyakt kee aur poochha ki vah kyon ro rahee hai. To shikshak phoot-phoot kar rone laga ki main Wafa Abdul Kareem ke jooton se jyaada doosare bachchon kee bhaavana aur apanee udaaseenata ko mahasoos kar sakata hoon. Jab mainne boks mein kaagaj ke any tukadon ko chek kiya, to un sabhee ka ek hee naam tha, "Wafa Abdul Kareem." In maasoom bachchon ne Wafa Abdul Kareem ke chehare par bebasee ka dard aur peeda mahasoos kee, lekin ham par nahin, jisaka mujhe khed hai.

Mere shikshakon mein se ek kaha karate the ki bachchon mein bhaavana paida karana aur vyavahaar mein udaarata sikhaana sabase achchha prashikshan hai. Hamaare kaee poorvajon ke baare mein aisee kitaaben hain ki ve apane haathon se bhiksha, daan aur jakaat nahin dete the balki bachchon ko dete the aur unhen baantate the. poochhe jaane par unhonne kaha ki yahee kaaran hai ki yah bachchon mein bachapan se hee udaarata kee bhaavana aur gareebon aur asahaayon ke prati sahaanubhooti kee bhaavana paida karata hai.
